Our Expertise
As one of the very few independent subsea and pipeline companies with a global network
of activities and involved in all phases of oil and gas extraction from appraisal
through to abandonment, J P Kenny is uniquely placed to assist customers to evaluate
subsea and pipeline system opportunities.
Drawing upon our strong project management, contracting skills, and technical excellence,
we carry out the following activities:
- Configure system layouts and prepare preliminary facility designs
- Carry-out techno-economic appraisals of development options
- Risk assess options and devise risk mitigation plans
- Procurement of long lead items such as linepipe and valves
- Prepare development plans and execution strategies.
We are experienced in working closely with owners' teams and have knowledge of subsurface
issues and product sales agreements. We are aware of the relevance that local production
sharing agreements and taxation issues can have on development plans.
FOCU$ Appraisal System
FOCU$ is a GIS based system developed by J P Kenny to provide fast comparison, evaluation
and optimisation of alternative development options. It provides for the easy, on-screen
manipulation of the proposed facilities and immediately produces the cost and values
implications of those changes.
