JPK KL continues with FEA works for HT/HP Systems
In collaboration with Shell, JPK developed an innovative buckle trigger design concept
incorporating both vertical and horizontal imperfections via a zero radius bend
created during installation. The concept uniquely suited the very soft clay seabed
in this region. JPK has since been engaged by Shell and other operators such as
Petronas, Nippon Oil and ExxonMobil on a variety of HT/HP clad pipeline studies.
With this success, JPK is once again supporting Shell by performing a series of
deepwater flowline studies for the upcoming Gumusut project.
