WHOLE LIFE SOLUTION FOR PIPELINE AND SUBSEA SYSTEMS
|
|
J P Kenny - London, United Kingdom
Established in 1978 as the original office of the J P Kenny Group, the London office
has amassed over 30 years of experience in executing pipeline and subsea projects
for clients around the world. Whilst it has a strong and growing credibility for
successfully completing a range of complex onshore projects, it is perhaps the track
record of involvement in major trunkline and offshore pipeline projects for which
the reputation of the London office is founded on.
With a team of approximately 300 people covering a wide range of disciplines, together
with access to all of the Groups' corporate memory of past projects, we are able
to undertake any subsea and pipeline project, whether in a marine or land environment.
Our capacity to engineer innovative solutions for our customers is evidenced by
the significant savings made on numerous projects and our commitment to continually
improve our efficiency and to reduce costs. We have been involved in ground breaking
new technologies and led the industry in applications such as Limit State Design,
pipe-in-pipe systems and the use of satellite imagery for pipeline routing.
Our geographic region of responsibility is the largest of the J P Kenny offices
and stretches beyond the UK and Europe to the Middle East, North Africa, West Africa,
Russia and The Caspian. We therefore have experience of working for a variety of
international customers with diverse cultural and behavioural approaches to doing
business. The London office will also work with other J P Kenny offices around the
globe in complementing it's own technical capabilities in order to match specific
client needs.

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
|
|
The London office operates an integrated HSEQ Management System. This includes a
Quality System which is certified by BSI to the latest ISO 9001:2000 standard. This
management system is rigorously applied to all our projects, both large and small,
having also been audited by various customers.
J P Kenny London has established policies on health, safety and the environment
that are applied throughout its operation. We have an excellent record regarding
maintaining the health and safety of our personnel whilst working in the home office
environment as well as when at site locations around the world. This duty of care
is also extended to our sub contractors, our customers and anyone affected by the
work we undertake.
Investors in People
The London office is proud to have received the Investors in People Award in recognition
of the training and development systems it has in place for it's staff. This includes
internal and external seminars, regular appraisals, individual personal development
plans and opportunities for long and short term secondments and transfers. This
award is determined by the feedback the assessors receive from our staff and we
are committed to continuing improving the overall working environment for all who
work for us.
Together with a vibrant sports and social scene, the London office strives to create
an enjoyable and stimulating environment in which to do business.
