J P Kenny - Perth, Australia
Established in 1985, J P Kenny Perth has a long history of project success in Asia
Pacific. As the leading pipeline and subsea services provider in the region, we
have been heavily involved with the majority of major pipeline systems and subsea
systems installed over the last 20 years.
With a team of approximately 300 people we have the resources to deal with any subsea
and pipeline project or challenge, from conceptual study through to abandonment.
Using the knowledge sharing networks of the J P Kenny Group, we are able to supplement
our local expertise with knowledge from other J P Kenny offices such as Houston,
London and Aberdeen.
We are committed to supporting our local community and to working constructively
with all of our stakeholders. We believe in developing local relationships. For
example, as part of on going project activities we have run extensive engineer training
schemes in countries such as Indonesia, India, China and Malaysia.

An Artist’s impression of the Julimar Development for Apache Energy Ltd
There is no such thing as 'off the shelf' subsea development. Every project is individual
and each brings its own distinct challenges to the design process. For the majority
of these challenges, conventional engineering approaches are suitable. In some cases
however, more innovative thinking is required to develop a cost effective design,
particularly at the limits of industry experience, deepwater, very high or low (cryogenic)
temperatures, high pressures, in areas of special environmental conditions or where
access for survey is difficult.
J P Kenny provides innovation to subsea developments through expertise and experience.
